Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi is known for fierce attack on political opponents, with his recent attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta. An old image emerged online but with a fly cloned on his mouth. We searched online using tineye.com and established the image circulating online is misleading, the original image was taken sometime in April 2015. We also carried out an investigation on the image in question using Error Level Analysis and established it was fabricated with pixel details having been tampered with.
COMMENT:
The image being circulated is meant to demean the MP, purely for political mudslinging. A lot of such fabricated images are already being circulated on social media as country heads for elections. Digital media users ought to question such images before consuming, storing, or sharing.
