A photograph of Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua emerged on social media mid May 2022 ahead of her nomination to be the presidential running mate for the Azimio Coalition flag bearer Raila Odinga.
The photograph is purportedly of the young Karua probably in her 20s or 30s
The photograph was subjected to Error Level Analysis (ELA) and was established to be manipulated for possible political propaganda or satire.
Elements of cloning were detected on the neck, and possibly face of young Karua may have been planted on another image.
INTENT;
The fabricated image may have been produced to paint Karua’s political career in bad light and possibly discredit her credentials as Raila Odinga’s running mate
