Headline purported to have been carried by The Star Newspaper on July 14, 2022 was immediately stamped as misleading by Star and denounced it on their verified Facebook account.
The fabricated headline and may have rooted from fierce political mudslinging that resulted from Deputy President William Ruto’s remarks on CS Defence Eugene Wamalwa alleged he almost got slapped by the DP in 2018 after leading a delegation of Luhya leaders to State House without his knowledge.
INTENT: Such informational misrepresentation is meant to advance political propaganda and satire especially during election campaigns seasons.
