Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) has flagged off a job advert purpoting to have originated from them. The advert titled; Interview for administrative assistant position was striked as outright fraudulent having asked for cash from unsuspecting job seekers. The advert was curated to be promising and juicy to make it more lucrative for it assured an interview and placement for the said job position. The fraudsters sought Ksh. 2,000 as application fee for this fake position that has a fake reference number(Ref: AKI-CDT No. 02). AKI highlighted that the organisation does not ask for money at any stage of the application and hiring process.
